Los Angeles-based Japanese actress Eru Gibson discovered a Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy sukiyaki and ramen together! The dish is called Wagyu Sukiyaki Ramen. Wagyu means Japanese beef, and sukiyaki is a hotpot-type traditional Japanese dish. How amazing that we can enjoy ramen with sukiyaki!
Eru tries to eat healthy, but also wants to enjoy delicious meals at the same time. She’s been working as an actor with the LAPD for their counter-terrorism training unit, and knows it’s very important to consume good-quality protein to fuel her body. She’s been playing a bad guy, so of course she needs energy!
And her native Japan is one of the best places in the world to find foods that are both healthy AND delicious.
“Japanese Wagyu Beef has many health benefits, and it’s known to lower bad cholesterol. Wagyu is also rich in polyunsaturated omega-3’s, as well as high in iron, essential amino acids, and of course, protein.”
According to Eru, “The performance and the presentation of the dish is exciting as well! The chef burned raw beef with a burner in front of us on a table. Thick ramen noodles absorb the rich broth and match magnificently with the beef.”
She continues, “It’s rich but healthy at the same time. Anyone who visits our beautiful country should try this wonderful ramen and sukiyaki together!”
Wagyu Sukiyaki Ramen is only 3,278 yen including tax. And you can find it at BEEF KITCHEN STAND (Yakko Dining) in Tokyo or Yokohama.
